中文九重葛文章品種名稱及其分類歸屬很亂，英文文章也一樣，更糟糕的是同一本書中前面與後面講的竟不一樣，今天想釐清是常見品種-"綠葉雙色"(Mary Palmer)，想知道它究竟是毛葉與光葉雜交種或是秘魯種或祕魯與毛葉雜交種，其芽變品種有金心雙色(Thima)及花寶巾
1. 國內張育森及郭能禎先生寫的文章及黃慶三先生發表於大紀元文章，均將Mary Palmer歸於毛光(B. x spectoglabra)
2.大陸陳濤先生的書更妙，前面說是毛光(B. x spectoglabra)後面卻說是毛秘(B. x specto-peruviana)
3.根據下面資料，Mary Palmer應屬於秘魯種或秘魯與毛葉雜交種，不是光葉與毛葉雜交種。

下面是摘取自此篇文章，查到的是mary palmer芽變自的媽媽Mrs. H. C. Buck，由它媽媽品種分類來推斷：
1. Mrs. H. C. Buck, Madras, India Hybrid seedling B. x peruviana (from Check List)
2. According to the bougainvillea check list (Singh et al.
1999) the ‘Mrs. H.C. Buck’ cultivar shows an affinity to B. peruviana in characteristics like leaves (ovate, glabrous), bract (magenta) and blooming (winter and summer) etc.
3.but according to Zadoo et al. (1975) and Ohri and Zadoo (1979) it shows affinity to B. specto- peruviana.
3.‘Mrs. H. C. Buck’ shows affinity to B. peruviana and lies in between cultivar of B. buttiana (‘Spring Festival’ and ‘Crimson Lake’). However, it shows genetic similarity to B. buttiana. It(指B. buttiana) is considered to be a natural hybrid of B. peruviana and B. glabra. Thus, ‘Mrs. H.C. Buck’ shows close affinity to B. peruviana of B. x buttiana than B. glabra.
Mary Palmer is B. spectoperuviana! Budsport after heavy prunning of B spectoperuviana 'Mrs H. C Buck' also known as 'Mahatma Ghandhi'! Mrs. H. C. Buck is a HYBRID seedling of B. peruviana 'Princess Margaret Rose' aka 'Lady Hudson'. And you would have guessed! The seeding is crossed with B spectabilis in Madras India 1930! Many of Indian bottanists decided to just name the affinity/consanguinity(亲缘) as just B peruviana. But that Magenta rosy shades which Mary Palmer has is inherited from Spectabilis. 我認為有不少人，跟我一樣，對於glabra/spectabilias/peru./butt.的特徵(葉子/花苞/顏色)一知半解，因此才會犯錯而不自知，秘魯種(peru)的葉子與光葉(glabra)的葉子形狀有明顯不同，光葉(glabra)種也幾乎不見紅色品種，如具備這些基本認識，當看到文章時就可產生一些疑惑/懷疑處，進而查證，很遺憾的，一堆文章一路錯而不自知。
非常謝謝您提供如此詳細的資料，以具體明確資料說明其血緣關係，這也說明為何英文文章中 B. peruviana與B. x spectoperuviana 均存在的原因，thks!
