First congratulation on the seeds harvested! Not many bougainvillea self seeds let alone variegated cultivar one.

From the picture show, I would suspect it's B glara 'Harrissi'. But more information needed to verify:

1. Full grown in sun?
2. How was the feel and touch of the shoot, leaves and bracts?
3. How is the growth habit?
4. Originally variegated when you have the plant or a budsport?

Under the naked eyes from what I observed, such small leaves variegated bougainvilleas can only from B. glabra or B. spectoglabra (not even B spectabilis). The difficulty lies in since these two species and interspecies have equal opportunity, determining using leaves structure alone will not tell the identification apart. Both of them has some degree of glabrous leaf and some degree of hairiness (many confused B spectoglabra 'Weeping Beauty' as B. glabra).

Next we should examine bracts colour. B. glabra doesn't have rosy tone and if the plant has rosy bract, then it should be B spectoglara. But showing here is a purple bracts and the difficulty is more. Next study should look at their flower and also branching habit.

Short cut of course is to send to lab test on germplasm study.

I see some of the older leaves showing here is cupping up and is loose and more upright growth then become densely pack. So far all bracts seen here seems to have uniform deep purple and a very pointed tips and obvious green veins, so I conclude this as the 'Harrissi', which is a variegated budsport of 'Sanderiana'. But whether this is the original variegated version or a new gold leaves version I wouldn't know.

You could observe further yourself by growing it in full sun.

However please note that budsport with variegated leaves are actually chimera with poorer structure. The plant’s meristematic tissue (in this case the leaves) is losing the ability to produce chloroplasts and hence we see the attractive colour zonation but this 'sickness' will not pass down to offspring.

Only very a few plants (such as capsicum and adenium to name a few) will inherit the variegated characteristic to the seedlings but sadly not bougainvillea. The seedling needs chlorophyll to photosynthesize and therefore will still have green leaves, if not paler green (such as yellowish green) to survive. But keep the seedling for like around 4 years with periodically pruning and see if there's any new evolution.

Sometimes when we grow a fruit tree from seeds such as mango or grape, it would appear at first that the seedling is not true to the parent. However after a while, we see improvement traits such as big rock fruit begin to have only smaller seeds or sour fruit begin to turn sweeter.

But after 4 years nothing apparent improves, then you should just discard it.

Please see this photo, real color by eyes , bracts colour is deep purple with blue tone, and quite bright.(深紫色且明亮看似帶點藍色,花色與花苞形狀與eva品系的紫明顯不同, 生長季其分枝多、直且硬,於秋冬時其節間密且質軟下垂,葉子同eva銀邊紫,但小一號,有時其葉子呈凹凸不平狀且如湯匙般拱起,(it's not easy for me to mention that in english)

On the red cultivar, remember I was mentioning 'Tetra Mrs McClean'?

This is it!

The tetraploid of 'Mrs Mc Clean'. Bracts are burnt orange, changing to rose shade and lastly with magenta rose and this is a tetraploid!

Remember you ask "種間(如B.x buttiana,B.x spectoperuviana, B.x spectoglabra)是否全是不可育(不結籽)?"? I told you they are all triploid with the exception of those being treated to have tetraploid.

"Tetra Mrs McClean" has been introduced to nurseries from India in the late 70's. Alternatively, we should run a DNA test to verify this.

On the purple cultivar, yes now I can confirm is the B spectoglabra 'Patch' series. This cultivar has a difficulty in developing big thick trunk and therefore slow growing if it is propagated with stem cutting. Nurserymen always graft it onto B. glabra.
You are so excellent! Your answer is very reasonable. Most of red bracts cultivars are of cross-hybrid and all sterile, and only teraploid mutation can turn to be fertile. I stell remember Tera Mrs McClean is one parent of Chitra. I think Mr.二羊 will also happy to hear that answer.

And thank you for helping me to ensure the variety "purple patch".
